Team Leader: My name is Eloise, I have been at Marjorie Mann since 2002. My passion is working with the children in the room, I thrive off challenging myself to develop my skills as an educator. I believe in play based learning, and giving the children the best opportunities to grow, learn and develop into the unique individuals they are during their time with us. I value families as the children’s most important relationship and teacher. When I work with the children, I believe I am also working with the families and building those crucial positive connections and partnerships. Family is very important to me, I am a mum to a teenage girl Amalee and I have a partner Chris and they are my world, oh and of course my 2 cats Ariel and Jemima.
My name is Ully (Ulrike). I was born in Germany and completed my Education as a Qualified Educator in 2003. I worked 7 years in a Children's home with children in the age between 4-18 years followed by 2 years in an after school care facility before I moved to Perth. I believe that every child is curious and has the right to be a child, allowed to take their individual pace to grow. I see myself as a Co-learner, who knows of the profound impact the family has on the child and how essential trusting relationships are for them. I pick up the child at this point and help them to develop their unique personality whilst seeing the world through the child’s eyes. I believe that boundaries and a stimulating environment with a strong connection to nature support children to feel safe, challenged and relaxed to make their own joyful discoveries. I believe that the childhood is the crucial time to teach the children how to care for our planet, which we all share regardless of any culture background
