Team Leader: My name is Susan, I have been working at Marjorie Mann Daycare since 1993. I have a Diploma in Children’s Services 0 to 5 years. During my time at this service, I have worked with various different age groups. I have a strong belief that each child is a unique individual with their own values, thoughts and ideas. Each child has the right to a safe, secure and nurturing environment which allows the child to grow and thrive to their full potential.

Hi my name is Alicia. I have been working with children for many years. I have always loved children from a young age and completed my Bachelor of Social Science in children and families. I love to spend time with my family and have three beautiful boys. I believe all children are unique individuals who all learn in their own way. I believe children learn best in a play based environment. Through providing many different learning opportunities children can practice important skills, extend their knowledge and make sense of their world. Providing a warm, caring and nurturing environment enables children to feel safe and builds their confidence to learn and grow. I believe families are the child’s first teacher and developing positive relationships with one another we can support children’s learning together. A natural, stimulating and interesting environment encourages children’s curiosity and wonder allowing them to make discoveries.
